Microsoft Photo Editor should come back!

I can't agree more. I have installed MS Digital Image Pro and Adobe
Photoshop. Both are WAY too in depth for my taste. I'd have to spend weeks
figuring them out just to do simple tasks like paste from the clipboard to a
new picture, create transparancies, crop while adding rounded corners, etc.
What a shame that MS replaced one great program with two inadequate ones.
Photo Manager is too weak and is designed for kids to use, while Digital
Image Pro is really over most everyone's head.

I'm at work, I can't have IT running around and installing multiple versions
of Office on my computer. I guess i will have to do without. What a shame!!!

I don't use Photo Editor much since I rather like Photoshop
Elements 3 but I have added PE to the Microsoft Office XP tool
bar or whatever it is called.

Speak for yourself. Just because you're too stupid to RTFM and figure it
out, doesn't mean everyone is. And to compare it to PS is just ridiculous. A
5-year-old could figure it out, it's a kiddies' program.

I would suggest Paint Shop Pro but, if you can't manage DIP, PSP would be
impossible...

Yep, if you can't work out how to paste then you're too stupid to even have
a computer. Pasting in PS or DIP is not different to pasting in any other
application. I suppose you can't figure out how to paste in Word, either...

How old are you? About 9, I would guess. Yes, you, Miss Perspicacia Tick.
I copied and pasted your name from your post. What is wrong with you? Are
you paid to be nasty and rude?

I believe it shiped with Office versions prior to Office 2003, that being
the case modify the office installation to remove it.
Or if you wish to keep it modify your file associations so that 'pics' open
with your prefered app.
Or right click and select Open with..........
