....does anyone know why on my 2.8GH / 1GB memory pc is takes about 1 minute
to open Microsoft Picture Manager? No spyware, or viruses on here, but...

What I've done is to edit the file "OIScatalog.cag" with NotePad.exe and
remove the paths pointing to a remote resources.
