Microsoft Powerpoint 2007

When I create graphic shapes, I cannot use the corner graphics handles to
scale correctly. Only the length (horizontal) handles work. After a point,
even those lock at the graphic size. I have tried Lock aspect ratio, but
this has no effect.

This happens on all graphics, regardless of the shape. Is there a
configuration that I have locked somewhere?

These are regular graphics, not SmartArt diagrams?

Try right-clicking the shape and choosing Format Shape. On the Textbox tab,
there should be an option to "resize shape to fit text" or something like
that. Uncheck it.

Thanks Echo - that worked. Sorry about the posts I registered as one user
with an old email address and could not retract it.

These are regular graphics, not SmartArt diagrams?

Try right-clicking the shape and choosing Format Shape. On the Textbox tab,
there should be an option to "resize shape to fit text" or something like
that. Uncheck it.

No worries -- just sometimes people get impatient and start flooding the
board until they get a response. We try to answer stuff quickly, but
sometimes it takes a little while! Thanks for understanding where my comment
was coming from.
