Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Has anyone come across this error message before?

Microsoft PowerPoint cannot be opened because of a problem.

Check with the developer to make sure Microsoft PowerPoint works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X.

Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

It ONLY happens with Powerpoint. Both Word and Excel are fine.

Hi,

It could be that an update failed to install properly. If you use Help >
Check for Updates, what happens?
