Microsoft Producer for PowerPoint is not working. Why?

I downloaded Microsoft Producer for PowerPoint today that is 26.03.06. After
installation I went to the start menu - Microsoft Office - Microsoft Producer
for PowerPoint 2003. But the programme responded with "An unknown error has
occured". I reinstalled it(with repai and install in control panel-addremove
programs). But the response is the same. Can you please help me fixing this
problem.
