Microsoft Proj mult schedules baselining & Gantt to include milest

I am currently working on a project schedule with multiple baselines (I am at
Baseline 7 right now) to show the delays that have been introduced by Turner
within the T2 Project.

I ran into a difficulty in displaying Milestones. For some reason no
Milestones after Baseline 2 are showing up in the Gantt view while the tasks
and task summaries are showing all the different 7 baselines that I have
saved so far.

Take a look at the Bar Styles. It sounds like you have a modified view which
includes tasks and summaries, but not Milestones. See if you can review
the settings and add the milestones yourself.

That being said, I would think that a Gantt Chart showing 8 baselines would
be almost unreadable. Are you sure you want to do this? Generally, you
only need to display the latest and greatest baseline, not all of them....

There is one of two possible scenarios. (1) The milestone lacks the baseline
date in question, (2) Project has not been configured to show the data beyond
Baseline2

Check to see that baseline dates exist for the baslines in question.
You can insert columns such as Basline5Finish, Basline6Finish, etc.
Then, look in that column for the milestones in question and verify there is
a date in that column, not just "NA"

You are using the "Multiple Baselines Gantt?"

There is probably an easier explaiation as well. By default, the Multiple
Baselines Gantt only shows basline1 and baseline2. What you will need to do
is select "Format/Bar Styles...."

In the Bar Styles dialog box, you will see how the bars, milestones, etc.
are formatted. You will need to create the same data for baselines 3 and
later. It is a lot of tedious work, but you only need to do it once.

Hi

In addition to Jim and Andrew's suggestions -

To format your bar chart to show the relevant baselines, go to Tools >
Tracking > set baseline > set interim plan and copy required baseline to the
one for which the bar chart is already set and copy that one to another
baseline.

I hope it helps.
