For all the latest and greatest features of the software, you might want to
consider upgrading to Microsoft Project 2002. If you are creating mostly
stand-alone projects for yourself and a small team of resources, you can
upgrade to the Standard version. If you need to use it in an enterprise
environment with multiple project managers, and with features such as an
enterprise resource pool, then you would probably want to upgrade to the
Professional version with Project Server. Hope this gives you some ideas.

Hi John,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Project 2003 release should be sometime this year - I suggest you wait a bit
and get the latest.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://www.mvps.org/project/

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on:)
