Hello,
I've been asked to install project pro on the same computer that has
2002 already installed. Each version will be connecting to the same
Project 2002 Server. The plan is to test 2003 before transitioning
everyone over to the new version, etc, but to still have 2002 around
in case any problems do arise. I've searched the groups a bit, and
heard that their are a few issues that have to be covered in order to
have the 2 versions running side-by-side, including having each
version point to a different global.mpt file. However, the
instructions are rather vague. I was wondering if anyone has had
success installing the 2002 and 2003 client versions on the same
computer, and what steps they followed. I couldn't find any Microsoft
docs covering this either, but if they exist, i'd appreciate a link to
them. Thanks alot for the help.
