Non Working Time Categories in Microsoft Project Web

My manager needs to know a little more about the above.
Is there any documentation on what the results would be
concerning changing or removing a Non Working time
category after time has been applied to a timesheet
containing that category? Will that time be lost and
have to be reapplied? What are the ramifications behind
this action? Please advise.
