Microsoft Public Groove Server Relay

I experienced the Groove trial and now my time is up. I really like the
product, but want more information. If I go ahead and purchase Groove 2007,
I do not need to setup my own personal Groove Server do I? Can I just use
the existing Public Groove Server Relay and connect all five of my users?
Thank you
Brent

your purchased license includes the use of the (public) Groove Relay server.
You don't have to have a personal Groove server (which is $$$)..

If I purchase the subscription during the trial version, and I invite 5
people to join my workspace. Do each of the 5 people have to have purchased
the $79 annual subscription too? I know that they can gain access via them
downloading the trial version, but what I'm unclear about is whether they
have to pay for the right to use the public Groove Relay server.

Thanks!

the 'trial version' is time-limited (I think it's ~60 days) & the number of
spaces it can have. Both the trial version and regular subscription uses the
'public servers'. After the 60-days (for the trial version) or 12-month
subscription (paid version), the Groove client reduces its functionality down
to the number of new workspaces created and also the network bandwidth (runs
slower).

If you purchase a subscription it only affect yoy. Folks using the trial
will still be able to enjoy full functionality in all of the spaces hat you
have invited them to and any future spaces that you invite them to.

After the 60day trial expires Groove goes in to "reduced Functionality mode"
which essentially means that that the trial user can no longer create new
workspaces or invitations to existing workspaces. All other functionality
remains as was. No bandwidth reduction is applied, as far as I know, by MSFT.
