Microsoft publisher 2007 Issues: Firefox and Centering of webpage.

I am using Microsoft publisher 2007. (http://www.indoeurocardiologycourse.com)
Two important issues which I am facing need to be addressed ASAP.

• This site is looking great in IE but in Firefox. I have tried all
options of disabling VML, using Microsoft HTML filter 2.0 to filter the html
files published by publisher still it is not showing up in Firefox. (no
images etc). Not sure what to do now.
• How to Center the site.

Here is my canned response regarding centering Publisher created websites:

I don't believe other than websites created with 2000 or 2002 can be
centered.

This works only for websites created with Publisher 2000 & 2002.

Each of your html files requires adding the <center> code after the existing
</head> code.

You can go into each html file and do it manually or get the free
ReplaceInfiles program
and make it an easy chore.


"ReplaceInFiles" can be downloaded from:

<http://www.emurasoft.com/index.htm>

The four boxes require the following information:

Find: </head>
Replace with: </head> <center>
File Types: *.html
In Folder:
(use the button to go to the folder where the html files are located on your
drive)

The bottom four boxes can be left blank.

Note: Once the boxes are filled out and the "Replace all" is selected, the
entries are retained for the next time you use the program.

P.S. One of the kind visitors of this news group told us of ReplaceInfiles
program some time ago; 'Sorry I forgot the individual's name. (Another
unsung hero).

I don't know what you mean when you say you used "Microsoft HTML filter
2.0"???? Please explain.You should Publish to the Web to produce filtered
html, vs. Save As a web page which produces "rich" html.

I suspect that you have put the background image or text box, and the navbar
on a master page, and they will not show up in FireFox. In general, don't
use a master page in a Publisher web document. If you want a picture, color
or texture in the background, you go to Format > Background...not use a
master page. Try moving everything off the master pages, to the main
publication, and see if that doesn't fix your problem. If not, post back and
we will try something else.
