Microsoft Query problem

Hello all

I am trying to open a table in The Microsoft Query window, using MS
Excel 2003.
The table that I am trying to open is coming from a MS Access 97. I
got to the point where I can see the list of the tables in the small
window "Add Tables". But once I select one an click on "Add" the
following message pops-up:
Microsoft Query
Can't access table NameOfTable.

I tried with different tables and same result. Any ideas?
