I had to perfform a gateway system recovery on my computer and it reset to
the date I actually purchsed the computer, now when I try to open a word or
excel document it gives the following error messages

first it states that it is installing......then it asks for a product key
sometimes, or it will state " a dialog box is open please close the box and
try again" Please help, I attend classses online and am unable to do my
assignments.....I did the repair and install as well as the update but I
still get the same messages. What can I do?

I already called Gateway and Microsoft- since I no longer have warranty they
want to charge for their help! AT that rate I can buy a new program! That is
why I tried this as a last option! Someone please give me the answer!
