Microsoft SQL Server Service Manager

Hi.

I purchased a new PC with Office 2003 Small Business Edition. On the system
tray there is an icon for Microsoft SQL Server Service Manager which I guess
comes with Office. What is this used for and how can I uninstall it?

It was installed to manage your SBA and BCM databases. If you intend on
using either of these products you will need to leave it installed.

Hi Chris,

I uninstalled SBA and BCM using the Add/Remove Programs since I have no need
for these two databases. How can I remove the Microsoft SQL Server Service
Manager from the system tray?

In add / remove you should see Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine
(MICROSOFTSMLBIZ).
