Microsoft Update doesn't seem Office 2000 and 2002 Updates?

I have Windows XP Professional SP2 with Office 2000 SP3 and Windows 2000
SP4 with Office 2002/XP. How come Microsoft Update cannot see them? I
had to disable MS Update to get the Office updates.

Hi Phillip,

If you check the FAQ link on http://update.microsoft.com,
it mentions that only Office 2003 updates are supported
at present. Perhaps MS Office XP (2002) series apps will
be supported, but Office 2000 is out of mainstream lifecycle
at this point, but will continue to be available through
http://officeupdate.com
