Hello, I have a valid (yes, I actually shelled out
umpteen dollars in order to have a "non-pirated" copy of
MS Office XP (though I may regret it later). Anyway,
I've already activated it and everything, and it's
working fine, but I wanted to install some of the updates
(SP1, SP2, etc. etc.). Unfortunately, when I got to
update it, it downloads the update setup file just fine,
but upon trying to run this file, it tries to go through
the installation, and finally just goes to 100% and
reports at the end that update was unsuccessful, but it
doesn't tell me why. It merely says that it's
unsuccessful. IF anybody has any suggestions as to what
I can do to fix this, I would be very appreciative.
