Updated A Dell Inspiron-7000 to Windows-2000..When I am in
Word, typing the cusor will jump around. Jumps from one
line to another.....Is their a fix for this problem?

This often results from inadvertently brushing the touchpad.

To add to Suzanne's reply: if you have loaded the correct touchpad driver,
if you go to Control Panel and select the 'mouse' applet, you should be able
adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad or even disable the mouse click
effect (which usually causes the problem).
