Microsoft Word highlighting feature

I use the highlighting feature (select text segment, click highlight after
choosing color). I would like to have the option of after having highlighted
a selection of text, being able to collect all the highlighted material (of
that color), and then be able to copy it to the clipboard. That way, when I
highlight different material in different colors, I can easily collect it all
at once and paste it for further analysis.

I would also like to have a fast fact window open when I start the software,
or be capable of being accessed, that teaches neat things I can do with Word.

Hi,
open the office-clipboard, clear it,
run the following macros to collect all text,
that is highlighted in yellow.
Sub Makro4()
Dim rDcm As Range
Set rDcm = ActiveDocument.Range
Resetsearch
With rDcm.find
.text = ""
.Highlight = wdYellow
While .Execute
rDcm.Copy
Wend
End With
Resetsearch
End Sub
Sub Resetsearch()
With Selection.find
.ClearFormatting
.Replacement.ClearFormatting
.text = ""
.Replacement.text = ""
.Forward = True
.Wrap = wdFindContinue
.Format = False
.MatchCase = False
.MatchWholeWord = False
.MatchWildcards = False
.MatchSoundsLike = False
.MatchAllWordForms = False
.Execute
End With
End Sub
For the second question, try the office-assistant, which is awful.
