Confuddled User!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can some techno-bod/weenie/head...or otherwise enlightened soul, explain why
Word asks you to save changes to a file you have opened but made no changes
too????

If the file was generated on another computer that had a different printer
attached other than what you have, it may well ask if you want to save the
changes..

Another possibility is if the file has any fields, such a the current
date. They might be in the header/footer. If you open the file and
print it, fields are often automatically updated. Then it wants to be
saved. If the only changes are field updates, you don't actually need
to do the save.
