Hi all,
In my working environment, sometimes a numbers of users
need to open a same document for editing. I understand
that for Microsoft Word, there can be only 1 person that's
editing and the rest would be read-only.
My users encountered this problem: He's the first person
to open the word document for editing and subsequently
some of them open it as a read only. When the first user
completes his editing and want to save his work, the
system suddenly prompt him that the file is open as read-
only which is not true because he is the first to open
that particular document.
Does anyone know what's the problem??It has been a
headache for us.
My Network is using Office2k and Office XP
regards....Jeff
