microsoft word program won't print in color

I'm having a problem with Word printing in color. All other Microsoft
programs will print in color.

Are you perhaps printing in draft mode? From the menu, select Tools -
Options - Print tab, see if Draft Output is ticked. While you're there, see
if Background colors & images is selected (in case that's what's missing).

If neither of these addresses the problem, does the document display colors
correctly when you choose File - Print Preview?

What version of Word is this? And, can you describe the document so we know
what's not working... is it all text? Are images printing in grayscale
rather than color?

I'm using the 2003 office suite. The color that won't print is our company
logo (.jpg). It appears to print like the color cartridge is out, but I just
put a new one in (black also). I've checked the print options and it's set

Also, if I print to the network laser printer everything prints okay, the
problem is with my personal printer.

I suspect that that say it all right there. If it prints okay with the
network printer, then there's some kind of problem wtih your personal
printer.

Do other things print okay from that printer? For example, if you open the
jpg using the Office Picture Manager, and print from there, does it print
okay?
