microsoft word

Microsoft Word was in my programs. It is now gone. Am
using Microsoft ofice 2000 How do I get it back? I have
the disk.

It probably really isn't gone. Perhaps you just lost the icon. Looking
in the folder "Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office11" (or wherever you
installed it.). You can also consider inserting the disk into the
computer and doing a repair install. My hunch this not required.
