I have a word document and evrtytime I try to open it I
get a box that says c:\....:job.doc is being used by bp.
Do you want to make a copy? The user bp is myself and I
can't get rid of this error evrytime I open this Document.

This means that your computer locked up at one time with this file open. A
temporary file was created that locks the file so no one else can get into
it at the same time. Follow these steps to fix:

1. Close Word
2. Open Windows Explorer and go to the folder where this file exists.
3. If you see the temp file, delete it. If not, click "Tools", "Folder
Options", click the "View" TAB and make sure you have the "Show hidden files
and folders..." set. Close out the dialog box. Then delete the file.
4. Close Windows Explorer and re-open Word and your document.

All should be fine!
