I am writing a newsletter using microsoft works. I
received two articles for the newsletter via emails that
were typed in microsoft word. Is their any way to
transfer the articles from word to my newletter in works?

I believe this depends on the version of Works. Works 7 will open Word
documents, select the appropriate filter from the file > open dialog.

Other alternatives - if they are just text documents - is to open then in
WordPad and save them as RTF documents. Then open them in Works.
