Microsoft Works Suite 2005 not responding

I run a small business out of my home. I have limited ability with Word. I
make a template of each customer we have and save the invoice. I just
munipulate the template each time. Change date, P.O. #, etc.. Anyway, I am
having a problem with works Suite not responding. I can't open my invoice
anymore. And now the whole program is not responding. I have window xp
home, hp pavilion mx 75 W/ AMD Athlon. Software - microsoft works Suite
2005.

I need the invoices really bad and I just took my computer into Best Buy and
they ran a diaognostic on the hardware and Rom. They said nothing was wrong.
I got it home and it froze up right away again. I unhooked all external
device except mouse, key board and monitor. I thought it worked. It let me
go in and add and remove programs. And I could work with word. I ran some
updates and restarted my computer and Here I am again. Not responding.

Does Word 2002 stop responding at the Word splash screen when you
start Word? Or when you click on File->Open? Or after you try
to type something into a Word document? Or when? If you get an
error message, please quote it exactly and completely. A better
explanation of the problem from you would help us to help you.
