Micrsoft Office 2007 60 day trial/bought cd

Hello,

Been working away for a couple of months and rather than drag my 3 year old
laptop back from abroad I've left it there - where I will return in a couple
of months ...
and I've treated myself to a new one.

It was waiting for me when I got home - an HP Pavilion DV2535EA.
Separately I bought a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Home/Student Edition.
What I didn't know was that the laptop came with a 60 day trial of Microsoft
Office 2007 Home/Student edition!

Shall I just 'uninstall' the Trial version and install the purchased version
from CD
....... or can I use the installed Trial version to register my bought copy
by putting
in the licence key on the cd case??

I guess 'uninstall' is the answer but would appreciate any confirmatory
words of wisdom from you peeps out there.

Tks in advance.

If the trial version, and the version you purchased are both "Microsoft
Office 2007 Home/Student Edition" you should be able to activate the trial
with the product key from the version you purchased. That should work fine.

If however you want to uninstall the trial and install the full version that
is a fine option too.

Eric,

Tks for that. I think I'll do an uninstall as that may take away some of
the splash type pages that come up with the trial version which may just
stay there if I just register with the new key.

See ya,

Phiz
