Micrsoft Word 2003 error

when i open the word file it open with a paragraph. that means there is a
text in it. i cannot able to remove the text. i take all the necessary steps
in the options and custtomize commands in the tools menu but i could not make
to erase the contents. so tell me the necessay steps to erase the same

I may not understand your description correctly.
Do you mean that all new documents you create contain text? In that case, see:

On the other hand... if you mean that each new document has a single
indelible paragraph mark in it... that's perfectly normal. It's part of how
Word works. You can toggle its display on/off with Ctrl+Shift+8, but it's
always going to be there. You, I, and tens of millions of other Word users
see exactly the same thing... and it's expected and normal.
