Migrate from Access 97 to MS SQL Server 2000

I had convert an Access 97 mdb file to Access 2000 mdb
file. Then using the Upsizing Wizard to create a new adp
file which link to MS SQL Server 2000.
From the new adp file, when I save a record, it save to
both db, the access and SQL Server. Any way to update only
the SQL Server so that I only use adp file as a
client/server application and database in SQL Server?
