Hi
I've just migrated from OE to Outlook XP (wanted to use one combined
PIM/e-mail app with my PDA) - all my messages appeared to come across OK,
however after a couple of hours I noticed a snag - all the internet headers
for the existing e-mails (even the 'from' e-mail addresses!) have been
stripped out in the migration!!
I did a bit of digging on Google Groups and found this appears to have been
a problem for a long time...

The both go back FIVE years - yet it appears to be the same problem that is
still there!
Has anyone else had any luck solving this?
One other problem I've found - in OE I could save a message to the desktop
as a *.eml file - if I then wanted to bring it into OE I could simply drag
and drop - when I do this in Outlook it tries to send the file as an
attachment :-( It was really a very useful piece of functionality, as I
use POPfile to screen my e-mail for spam, and it has the ability to append
the original message as an attachment. With OE, if the message wasn't spam
I could just save the file to the desktop and drag it back in again - I
appear to have lost this capability :-( None of the import/export options
seemed to help.
Many thanks for any assistance.
