Migrating 3.1 workspaces to 2007

Has anyone had any luck with downloading workspaces created in 3.1?

I am able to successfully create a 2007 workspace however when I create a
3.1 workspace on another PC it doesn't download to the 2007 client. No
notifications or errors are indicated.

This brings up another issue of migration of tools and workspaces from 3.1
to 2007.

With the new workspace file format (gsa), how will invite and send
invitations to users using 3.1? In other words, are we stuck with inviting
members who only have 2007 and excluding 3.1 users? I've tried installing the
component for the workspace file type but it fails everytime.

Hi,

G2007 user can't invite G3.1 user, but opposite situation is allowed. Some
tools also removed from G2007, so G3.1 workspace will not tatally
synchrinized in G2007.

I have found that changing a setting in the 2007 launch bar has helped alot.

go to Options/Preference/Security

then down the bottom remove the check mark against Workspace Restrictions
that has improved a lot of the issue I was getting as I have people working
with 3.1 and others who are moving into the 2007.
