Migrating Email from Outlook (Office 2000)/ Win98SE to XP Office and WinXP

I used a fairly reliable product, Intellimover, to
transfer files from an old Win98SE pc to a new HP running
Windows XP and Home version of Office. All files, IE
bookmarks, etc, transfered perfect, but none of my email
came over. The files that are *.pst are older archive
emails - nothing current. The import/export option in
Office didn't seem to secure the current emails either.

Does anyone know if there is a compatibility issue..or is
this just "operator error?" Also - is there a quick way
to copy existing emails onto a USB flash stick (e.g.
Sandisk's minicruzer) and paste them into new email
folders in Outlook?

Thanks. J.

You copy the entire pst file to media, then to new hd,ensure read only flag
is off. Then in OL File/Open/Personal Folders........browse to pst

It worked! Can't thank you enough. I had to have emails
open and move them that way, vs. entire folder. many,
many thanks! j.
