I have migrated users settings from one computer to the
next computer over the network. The steps are basically
this;
1. login into the users machine with an admin
account
2. map to the target machine
3. copy the profile to the target machine
4. update the users machine by wiping the hard
drive clean, and install a new OS and office suite 2003.
5. copy the user profile to the newly updated
machine
6. fix any bugs that the profile
doing steps two to three gets a little fuzzy. I would
like to find a step by step guide to do this instead of
doing this by memory.
