Migrating to new computer

I've just installed FP 2000 (97=>98=>2000) on new computer. Have
website published on web for years. Now want to use new computer to
access website. FP will not let me open the web using the "open web"
command. I select open web and type the http path to the site into the
"folder name" line and hit open. I get an error message saying "the
file name, location or format ... is not valid" This is a web pubished
with extensions that I've edited 1000 times. How do I access my web
from the new machine. (Now I remember why I hated FP to begin with!)
--Casual Webmaster; any help greatly appreciated!

I also just migrated from old to new computer using fp2002. To open internet
web for editing I found that you must type the http:// in front of the path.
So not www.path.com but http://www.path.com
Give that a shot if you haven't already.

I had the same problem...................Great tip, that did the trick for
me!

Now that I have the web site with all of its folders opened up in Frontpage,
how can I save this website to my harddrive?

Thanks tons
