Hi!
I am migrating Project Server 2003 to Project Server 2007. As a part of this
migration, I need to migrate WSS2.0 to WSS3.0. I have taken full migration
approach with SharePoint with Project Server 2007 setup on another separate
Server:
Server 1 with WSS2.0, Results of PreScan tool:
The only error which I get is "Error: The following site has not been
scanned. Id = c4dd9d7e-fe0c-42ca-8119-1707f9babff7 and Url = /"
Following is the summary of PreScan Utility
Number of sites skipped (already scanned): 0
Number of sites scanned: 5030
Number of broken sites: 0
Number of webs scanned: 5082
Number of broken webs: 0
Number of webs using custom template: 5034 (99.06% of total).
Number of pages scanned: 399843
Number of unghosted pages: 44 (0.01% of total).
Server2 with WSS3.0, Error thrown by STSADM.exe when I run stsadm -o
addcontentdb -url http://myserver:80 -databaseserver SQLServer2005
–databasename SharePointContentDB to add SharePoint content DB to WSS3.0
after runnning the prescan tool:-
The pre-upgrade scan tool has not yet been run on this database
SPContentDatabase Name=sharepoint Parent=SPDatabaseServiceInstance. You must
run the pre-upgrade scan tool before you can continue with the upgrade
process. Run the tool from the following path: C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\bin\prescan.exe.
