Migration from ACT 8.0 or ACT 2005 to Business Contact Mgr 2003

I have 6 customers that are currently ACT users. They are either running 8.0
or 2005. Convinced them Business Ctc Mgr would give them everything ACT
would..

To migrate is via exporting from ACT to a .csv file and then try importing
to Business Contact Manager - what a pain in the butt!!!!! Nothing maps
nice (extensive amount of time tyring to get everything ported over) Anyone
have a tool or script that does this. Really trying hard to promote MS
Business Ctc Mgr but not gonna do it anymore if there isn't a simpler way.
If MS had something like this - would definitly be easy to get ACT users to
migrate and toss ACT in the trash can- thier current realease is riddle with
bugs!

Each release of BCM updates its ACT import libraries. BCM v2 imports
ACT (v.6) 2003. I expect the next release (sometime in 2006?) will
probably import from ACT 2005.

I am using Act 2006 version 8 and I have been able to export via TXT file all
the contacts. However, the Act notes field is not included in the current
export map fields. Will the new MS Update be able to pull in the notes? If
so this will make it possible for a number of others in our organization to
convert. Also when is this MS release due to be be availible?

AGBagwell;

Thinking about converting from ACT! to BCM in the Office 2007 suite. Would
you recommed it after these problems you had a couple years ago?
