Migration to Another Server.

Mark Byington

We are getting ready to move EPM from a test pilot/proof of concept phase to
a production environment. Is there any reference material on migrating to
another server 'gracefully' and keeping the already built RBS, the customized
views, the resource pool, and all other custom features we've built?

If you post to the correct group, you might find your answer. This group
handles questions with Microsoft Office.

After furious head scratching, Mark Byington asked:

As a matter of fact, EPM is considered 'by Professionals' as part of the MS
Office suite of applications.

Mark -

For questions on Microsoft Office Enterprise Project
Management (EPM) you may want to post to the MS Project
Professional and Server group. (Link below) or one
of the other MS Project newsgroups.

There are links on the MS Office Project home
page http://office.microsoft.com/project to
the discussion groups as well as
to the MS Project Server page for EPM information
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX011204851033.aspx
in addition to the product related information through
http://microsoft.com/office/project/prodinfo/EPM/default.mspx

FWIW, while the MS Office Project products are part of the
MS Office System family of products they are not
included in any of the MS Office Suites (now 'Editions').
