Milestone Filtering resequences Project file

625 line project (not big)
Filter Milestones results in random task Milestone listing (approximate 25
milestones) WITH NUMBER Resequencing (ie task 225 moves up to between
204/205).
When you go back to all tasks, resequencing remains scrambled.

Project 2003 Standard edition version 112.2005.1801.15 SP2.

Main full task level project open. Lines and relationships all aok (line
numbers all in correct sequence)
Project, Filters by milestones
Line (random move) 193 milestone comes after 195 and line 225 is now
ahead of line 218.

Project filters all tasks and 193 and 194 move after 199 and 225 moves
after 208 and now 205 moves.

The desire is to be able to use the filters function and move betwen
views automatically.

Thanks for the Project sort by id which works fine as a temporary fix.

Would like to file this as MS Project BUG and if so how?

How does one report a bug as described in MS Project?

Hi Bob,

I don't know that there is a bug, as your description of what is happening
lack statment of what you did to see such results. You can, of course,
record macros to apply filters to the appropriate views and store these on
tool buttons. Then a click of the tool button should give you the sort of
automation I feel you're after.
