Milestones in the My Tasks page

Hello,

How to eliminate the display of Milestones (with resource assignments but
Work = 0) in the My Tasks page of PWA 2007?

Ask your PM to remove you from the Milestone tasks. How could your PM
assign you to a task with no work? That makes no sense. Tell him/her I
said so, too! :) Hope this helps.

Hello Dale,

They need to add such resources on milestones just to remember who is
responsible for the milestone. Often a contractor.
But the PM has 14 pages of such milestones in his My Tasks page... ;-)

To see who's accountable for a Milestone (and also serve the purpose
of going to ONE person for questions rather than potential multiple
resources), I created a custom field called 'Accountable Person' (or
Accountable Person FName and LName, if you wish). Put the name in the
Accountable Person field rather than the Resources field if you don't
want the task to show up in My Tasks. Print Milestone reports with the
field 'Accountable Person' in it. NOTE: I also created a Flag field
called 'Key Milestone' which gets flagged Yes or No depending on if
Management wants to see it in the Milestone Reports.
