Military Time

I have a time keeping database that uses military time for calculating hours
of work. However, some of these people get off of work at midnight and the
db will not let me enter 24:00. Fomatted as date/time, short time.

debug.Print #00:00# = 12:00:00 AM

It's the old "Is midnight 0000 hrs or 2400 hrs debate. Access sides with
00:00 so you'll have to change your users mind's. As a retired military man,
I know that you have your work cut out for you!

You could cheat and enter 23:59:59 . Close enough for government work!

Thanks, that did the trick. Now I have to go browbeat some users into doing
it as you said!!

What the heck are you talking about? There's nothing in the BIOS that would
impact how Access treats Time values!
