Minimizing does not work.

When I have any window open I am unable to minimize it. When I click
'Minimize' icon, the program closes - ie it doesnt go to an icon in the
bottom tool bar. Can anyone help?

Are you referring to Word? If this only happens in Word then you could
be encountering a bit of corruption in the Handwriting Recognition
services. (I know this doesn't sound related to minimizing/restoring
Word document windows!) Take a look at this article for more
