Minimizing the ribbon

After adjusting the Quick Access Toolbar in Excel 2007 to contain the
items I want I don't want to have the ribbon full. I know you can
minimize it with cntrl/F1 but I'm trying to write a macro to do that
whenever the program is opened. So far no joy. Anyone found a way to
do it?
