Minimum Characters for Word 2003 AutoText Entries and AutoText Nam

What is the minimum number of characters for an auto text entry and for an
auto text entry name? What is the minimum number of characters in the entry
and/or the auto textname in order to be able to use auto complete?

I have read that 5 is the min number of characters in the entry text for
auto complete to work. Then why doesn’t the auto text name zban not insert
the entry banks into a document without pressing F3?

, AutoText entries must be at least five characters long if you
want to insert the entry by using AutoComplete. At last count,
"zban" contains only four characters.

I'm not sure how much time you actually save by typing a
four-character AutoText name (zban) instead of typing a
five-character word (banks).
