Is there a way to access the printer properties to know what the minimum
margins are for the current printer selection? I have several reports that
print landscape and use 10" - 10.5" of the standard letter sized paper. This
is fine for most laser printers, but there are many inkjets with higher
minimum margins. Can I determine that through vba and warn the user that
the report will not print as designed?
Along that line, is there a utility available anywhere that will scale an
Access report page? I'd love to have something that would shrink the image
of each page as needed before printing rather than just warning the user.
Is there such a tool out there? Any possibility that Microsoft will add it
to Access since you can do some shrinking in Excel, Word, and IE?
