Minimum Requirements to use/run a Access 2003 .mde

I converted an Access 2003 dB to an .mde and am deploying it on a laptop
which does not have MS Office. What is the minimum requirement which must be
installed on the laptop to open this .mde?

You need at least a runtime version of Access:

Besides Stephan's advice the os needs to be at least Windows 2000 sp3 for
Access 2003 runtime and Windows XP sp2 for Access 2007 runtime.
