It's pretty difficult to remove Word by accident - look in Control
Panel-Add/Remove Programs. Is it still there?

Its defo not there. Iv tried to download packs like viewer etc but it hasnt
made a difference. The disk that i got with the computer is long gone so i
dont know if thats what i need to use to get word back or not.

Any other suggestions?

Tell your friend to pay 50% of a new copy. It's his fault for uninstalling
it and it's your fault you lost the disks. You cannot download it.

Alright...i was only asking...jeeze! Thanx for all you "friendly" advice jo.

I know it may not have sounded nice but I was being straight with you. It's
not your friend's fault you lost the disks. Sooner or later you will be
getting a new computer and you'll have to buy Word all over again. Your
friend just made that happen sooner instead of later.

(BTW - I'd have told my best friend the same thing.)

This is simple....just use your last image or clone before your friend
deleted Word!

Yeah, right. If the OP lost his installation disks what makes you think the
person backs up the hard drive on the computer!

I don't understand these guys. Me, I have all the installation disks,
driver disks and application disks for every, I mean every, software product
I have ever bought, every video card, every computer and every fax machine,
with the Product Keys written down in a separate notebook. I've thrown away
most of the packaging, but Case Logic makes these neat leather covered books
that hold 72 CDs or DVDs apiece.

You'd have to be a moron to throw away the disks that came with your
computer.
