Form opens as read only - unable to unlock - even tried
saving as something else - tried opening other previously
saved same form and they all are opening as read only.

HELP!!!

Same thing happens with documents that are not forms, but are saved
documents?

Have you activated your copy of Word? Check under the Help menu. If there is
a command there about "Activate" try it. If you have a version that doesn't
require activation there won't be such a command. If you have already
activated, it will tell you that.
