Miscellaneous Communications 12MB outbound

groove (Ver. 3.1a Build 3.1a.2390) spends the first 5 minutes on startup
slowly counting up to 12.2 Mb of Outgoing data in Miscellaneous
Communications that never goes away. I do not have this issue on my home
desktop computer. How do I get rid of this?

You can force a purge of any misc outgoing data, valid or not, by deleting
your "groovecommunicationsservices.xss". In Groove 2007 it is located in
"C:\Documents and Settings\[your profile]\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\OFFICE\Groove\System"

I recommend renaming instead of a delete just in case... BTW, you will need
to shut down Groove first.

I do not recall where it was in Groove 3.1 but a simple search should find
it. Do not forget to show system and hidden files before you do your search.

Or you can just run grooveclean.exe from the groove directory
