Installed an Access 2003 runtime application on a clients system that had
Office 2000 Pro installed.
When launching application, get error 'Your database or project contains a
missing or broken reference to the file OWC10.dll version 1.1'
This occurs with or without a reference to OWC10.dll which on my development
system is version 10.0.6619.0.
OWC10.dll is included in the accessrt.cab with or without a reference.
Application: Split database,
User level security, distributed without .mdw file
code passworded
no digital signature/certificate
Occurs in both of the following Environments:
Client system: XP Pro SP?? Office 2000 pro SR/SP??
Test environment: Fresh install of XP Pro SP2 and Office 2000 SR-1
Same frontend application saved as Access 2000 version and run under Access
2000 has no problem.
No error generated on my development system which has Office Pro 2000, 2002
developer, and Pro 2003 with Access extensions installed in that order.
Can find no reference in MS KB.
