Hey all! Last year I installed MS Office 2003 with the Developer Extensions
so I could use the Package Wizard to build stand alone dbs (include the
runtime). It worked great until yesterday... now when I try to install
anything created with the package installer which includes the runtime I get
most of the way through the installation and then up pops a message which
indicates the accessrt.cab file is missing from a certain directory.
Manually copying the file to the specified directory and re-running the
install program produces the same message as does running the .msi file
directory (instead of Setup.exe).
I thought it was a fluke on my development computer so I tried it on two
other computers with the same results.
Does anyone know why and how I can resolve this? I really need to get this
software out the door as quickly as possible but can't do that if the
installer's not going to do its job!
Thanks,
M
