Missing Contacts

Hello,

I am using Outlook 2000 and Windows XP. I have an odd thing happen. When I
am in Outlook I look at my contacts everyone is there. But when I am writing
an email and click on the To: the "address book" shows just a few contacts.
Now I know the "address book" and the contacts are the same but I am still
missing people alot of them. Don't remember anything happening to Outlook or
computer so cant tell you how this happened. But if you know of a fix I
would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Bec

Make sure the Contacts that appear to be missing actually reside in the
Contacts Folder you are displaying and that they all have valid, resolved
(underlined) electronic addresses.

Russ,

Thanks. I did another check and for some reason the contacts in their own
folders were not showing so I made new folders and moved the contacts in
there and they are showing up now. Go figure I guess.

Thanks,
Bec

What you did was reset the connection to the Outlook Address Book. You can
do the same thing by removing and re-adding the Outlook Address Book. That
way you don't have to make new folders.
